Saturday
Still quite windy and cool across the northern half of the United Kingdom today. A dry, mostly sunny morning to come for central and southern parts of England. Apart from a few showers across East Anglia it stays fine here for the afternoon with the best of the sunshine. For the rest of Britain it's a day of sunshine and showers, these turning heavier in the afternoon with a longer spell of rain for the far north of Scotland. Expect maximums at 15 to 21C north to south.

Saturday Night
This evening most of the showers will soon clear leaving all but the north of Scotland dry with late evening sunshine. The rain persists in the far north into the north with the bulk of the country dry and clear. Expect minimums of 8 to 10C.

Sunday
Apart from the rain across the far north of Scotland, all areas will start the morning dry and mostly sunny. More cloud and showers will develop later in the morning and linger into the afternoon. All areas though will not catch the showers with a good deal of dry sunny weather mixed in there as well. He showers become confined to western coasts this evening and overnight with heavy rain across the northern half of Scotland. Highs of 16 to 21C.

Monday
Lots of showers soon develop across England and Wales this morning, becoming heavy with a risk of thunder through the afternoon. The more persistent rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland in the morning spreads into northern England in the afternoon. A band of light rain moves into central and southern England in the evening and night. Chilly today with highs of 14 to 19C.
