Sunday
Apart from rain across the far north of Scotland into Shetland, it's a fine, sunny start to the morning across much of Britain. Through the morning more cloud and showers will develop across Wales, Northern Ireland and central England. A mainly dry afternoon for southern parts of Scotland and northern England. Elsewhere expect a mixture of sunshine and showers, a few may be heavy. With less windy it will feel a bit warmer with maximums at 15 to 21C north to south.
Sunday Night
This evening most of the showers will soon clear leaving all but the north of Scotland dry with late evening sunshine. The rain persists in the north and spreads into Northern Ireland overnight. A dry, mostly clear night to come for England, Wales and southern Scotland. Expect minimums of 8 to 10C.
Monday
Outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland this morning push into Wales, northern and south west England in the afternoon. Showers develop across the rest of England in the morning, becoming heavy and widespread in the afternoon. The rain moves into all parts for the evening becoming light and patchy overnight. Highs of 14 to 19C.
Tuesday
Dry and bright this morning with some sunshine for south east Scotland and north east England. Elsewhere a lot of cloud with sporadic outbreaks of patchy rain. Mainly dry for south west England and East Anglia for the afternoon. Light rain will affect eastern parts of Scotland with scattered showers for the reminder of Britain. Most areas turn dry for the evening and night though we'll see rain moving into Northern Ireland before morning. Chilly again today with highs of 14 to 19C.
