Tuesday
The northern half of Scotland will see rain on and off for much of the morning and the afternoon. Apart from a few scattered showers across the far south of England it's a dry morning with sunny spells and occasional cloud. A lot of fair, dry weather for England, Wales and Northern Ireland for the afternoon with just a few showers possible in the south and across north east England. Expect maximums at 15 to 19C in the north and 19 to 23C in the south.
Tuesday Night
Sporadic outbreaks of light rain will persist across northern Scotland into the evening and night. Any residual light showers across north east and southern England will soon clear early this evening with much of the United Kingdom ending the day with some late sunshine. Overnight it remains dry and mostly clear. Lows of 10 to 12C.
Wednesday
Cloudy this morning with patchy rain across Scotland tending to fade as it brightens up by the afternoon with just a few showers. For Northern Ireland, England and Wales it's a fine, dry day with a mixture of sunny spells and cloud though by the end of the afternoon rain may reach western parts of Cornwall. The rain turns heavy this evening moving into Northern Ireland, Wales and The West Country before spilling east into al but the north of Scotland tonight. Highs of 18 to 22C.
Thursday
Outbreaks of rain will be clearing away from the southern half of England and ales this morning then dry with sunny spells into the afternoon. For Northern Ireland, Scotland and the north of England it stays wet for much of the day. Any rain will become confined to the north of Scotland during the night. Highs of 14 to 21C.
