Thursday
It remains dry and bright across northern Scotland this morning but for the bulk of the United Kingdom it's an overcast morning with light rain. In the afternoon it does become dry and bright with sunnier spells for Northern Ireland, Wales and central and southern England. Fair and dry this evening except for rain in the north of Scotland. Overnight another area of rain sweeps into south west England and Wales. Highs of 17 to 22C.

Friday
