Monday
An area of heavy, thundery rain across East Anglia and the south east of England should move away this morning but may linger across Kent into the afternoon. A very wet day to come for northern parts of Scotland with spells of heavy rain. Elsewhere it's a day of sunshine and showers. The showers becoming more widespread and heavy in the afternoon with a risk of thunder as well. Expect maximums at 16 to 22C.

Monday Night
Gradually the rain across the north of Scotland will slip away to the north later this evening and most of the showers will become confined to western coasts of England and Wales later this evening and into the night. Any residual rain in the far south east of England will son clear with much of England and Wales turning dry and sunnier this evening. Dry and mostly clear then tonight. Lows of 10 to 15C.

Tuesday
After a dry, sunny stat to the morning the showers in the far west will develop more widely and become heavy later this morning across all parts of the United Kingdom. A lot of dry, sunny weather to come this afternoon across south west England, East Anglia and south east England. Elsewhere lots of heavy showers to come with a risk of thunder too. A band of heavy rain moves across Shetland into the far north of Scotland tonight with a few sharp showers in the far south of England, dry in between. Highs of 16 to 19C.

Wednesday
A largely dry day across Northern Ireland and sunny across Kent. The bulk of the United Kingdom will see showers again developing through the morning becoming frequent and heavy into the afternoon. Some sunshine is likely in between the showers. Except for rain in the north of Scotland, most areas turn fine and dry for the evening and night. Highs of 16 to 21C.
