Saturday
A band of light to moderate, persistent rain will lie from eastern Scotland across northern England into Wales and south west throughout the course of the day. After a dry, bright start showers will develop across central and southern parts of England this morning and these become heavier and more frequent in the afternoon with a risk of thunder. We could see a dry, sunnier afternoon across Kent and eastern parts of Suffolk and Norfolk. Another chilly day with maximums of 12C for Edinburgh, 18C for Birmingham and 19C for London.

Saturday Night
Light rain will linger across Scotland, Wales and south west England this evening and tonight perhaps moving into the West Midlands tonight. A few sharp showers across north east England and the Midlands will die away this evening then dry in the east with some most developing my morning. Lows of 10 to 12C.

Sunday
Brighter this morning with some brief sunshine and a scattering of light showers or patchy rain across Britain. The afternoon sees the showers becoming more widespread and heavy though it looks mainly dry in the south east of England and more persistent rain may edge into Cornwall. Light rain is expected to spread into the extreme south of England tonight. Highs of 15 to 19C.

Monday
An area of moderate to locally heavy rain is expected from the South Midlands into southern England this morning. This spreads into East Anglia in the afternoon while clearing The West Country. To the north it's a day of sunny intervals and heavy showers though Northern Ireland get by with a dry day. As the showers fade and the rain clears this evening, all parts of Britain look dry and mostly clear overnight. Top temperatures of 16 to 21C.
