Monday
Outbreaks of rain across the far south of England will spread into central parts of England this morning and this will be heaviest along the channel coast. To the north it's sunshine and showers this morning. In the afternoon the heavier rain in the south will affect East Anglia the Midlands, parts of eastern Wales and south west England. It remains sunnier to the north with heavy showers. Another chilly day with maximums of 19C for Edinburgh, 16C for Birmingham and 16C for London.
Monday Night
Still overcast and wet this evening across East Anglia and the south east of England and this eventually clears tonight. Just a few scattered showers across Scotland into north west England this evening otherwise dry with some late sunshine. Dry for most places overnight with patchy fog and clear skies. Lows of 10 to 13C.
Tuesday
Most areas will start dry and sunny but scattered showers will develop across Scotland and eastern parts of England later this morning into the afternoon. To the west it will remain dry with the best of the sunshine. As any showers fade from eastern Britain this evening, more persistent rain returns to Northern Ireland and the extreme west of Scotland, England and Wales. Highs of 15 to 22C.
Wednesday
For East Anglia and the south east of England it's a dry bright morning with some sunshine. Elsewhere it's cloudy and damp with outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain. In the afternoon the rain moves into all parts then clears the far west to sunnier spells and scattered showers. The rain only slowly clears eastern parts of England during the course of the night with showers around western coasts. Top temperatures of 16 to 21C.
