Wednesday
Kent may get by with a dry morning but a front will bring outbreaks of rain to most other areas. The rain looks heaviest across central and southern England. A dry afternoon across northern England, Wales and south west England with outbreaks of heavy rain across the rest of England. Scotland and Northern Ireland will have sunny spells and occasional showers. Highs of 18C for Edinburgh, 18C for Birmingham and 16C for London.

Wednesday Night
The last of the rain soon clears the far south east this evening while rain lingers across northern Scotland with showers across western Britain. Overnight the showers persist in the west with more persistent rain into Wales and south west England. Eastern areas fair better with a dry night to come. Lows of 11 to 14 to 14C.

Thursday
Wet with spells of moderate to heavy rain across much of England and Wales this morning and into the afternoon though it turns sunnier and showers across northern parts of England in the afternoon. To the north expect frequent and heavy showers with a risk of thunder along with sunnier spells. Still a number of showers in the north and west into the evening and night with rain clearing the south east. Highs of 15 to 19C.

Friday
Outbreaks of rain will linger across northern Scotland today. This morning a few showers are possible across Wales and north west England with the rest of the UK dry and mostly sunny. Just a few shower sin the south in the afternoon with a good deal of dry, sunny weather to come across England and Wales along with southern Scotland and Northern Ireland. All areas will be dry and clear tonight. Top temperatures of 16 to 20C.
