Monday
Quite a chilly start to the morning across Britain. Apart from a few scattered, light showers across northern Scotland, it's a fine, dry morning with lots of sunshine. In the afternoon we'll see more showers developing across all of Scotland into parts of northern England as well. To the south it stays fine, dry and mostly sunny. With less wind it will fell warm in the south of England. Expect maximum temperatures of 14 to 16C in the north and 17 to 20C in the south.

Monday Night
This evening any isolated light showers across north eastern parts of England and Scotland will soon fade away with most places to end the day with some evening sunshine. Overnight a band of rain moves into the far north of Scotland and into the Northern Isles. For the bulk of Britain it dry, clear and chilly tonight. Lows down into single digits for most inland areas.

Tuesday
Outbreaks of rain across northwest Scotland become a bit heavier in the afternoon. Some rain may also reach parts of Northern Ireland later in the afternoon. For southern Scotland, England and Wales it will remain dry throughout with plenty of sunshine on offer in all areas. Northern parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland looks quite wet into the evening and night. A fine night across England and Wales with some patchy mist by morning. Highs of 18 to 23C north to south.

Wednesday
A band of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland narrows and becomes light as it reaches Cumbria in the afternoon. For the rest of England and Wales high pressure will keep it settled and dry with lots of sunshine from the Midlands into southern England. As patchy rain across northern England in the evening slips into Wales and the North Midlands expect just a few showers. Highs of 18 to 23C north to south.
