Tuesday
Again it's a chilly start to the morning across much of Britain. All parts will be fine and dry this morning with lots of sunshine and patchy cloudiness. In the afternoon an area of rain is expected to spill in across north west Scotland and into the western counties of Northern Ireland. For much of mainland Britain it's a dry afternoon with good sunny spells. With little wind it will feel pleasantly warm with highs of maximum temperatures of 16 to 19C in the north and 20 to 23C in the south.
Tuesday Night
This evening the rain peps up across the north half of Scotland then slips into northern parts of Northern Ireland during the course of the night. England and Wales will have a fine evening with some elate sunshine. Then dry, chilly and clear again overnight. Lows of 7 to 10C in the south but a milder 214 in the wetter north of Scotland.
Wednesday
A band of moderate ss Scotland and Northern Ireland narrows this morning and becomes light as it reaches Cumbria in the afternoon. For the rest of England and Wales high pressure will keep it settled and dry with lots of sunshine from the Midlands into southern England. As patchy rain across northern England in the evening slips into Wales and the North Midlands expect just a few showers. Highs of 19 to 24C north to south.
Thursday
More cloud across the country toady and more unsettled. Expect some patchy rain in the north and there is a risk of showers for England and Wales. One or two may be heavy in the south east and across East Anglia while some places will escape with a dry day. Any showers or rain soon clears leaving a fine evening across all areas ahead of a dry, clear night. Highs of 17 to 24C.
