Wednesday
A belt of rain will lie from southern Scotland into Northern Ireland this morning with a few showers across northern Scotland. A fine, sunny morning to come across England and Wales. As the rain slips a bit farther south it dies out this afternoon but rather cloudy across northern parts of England this afternoon. Continued mostly sunny and dry across central and southern parts of England with scattered showers persisting across north west Scotland. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 19C in the north and 20 to 23C in the south.
Wednesday Night
Most areas will have a pleasant evening with late sunshine to end the day though light rain is expected across north west Scotland. During the night some rain is forecast to spread east into much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. To the south it's a dry, mostly clear night. Lows of 10 to 13C for most.
Thursday
Dry and bright with some sunshine for East Anglia and the south east of England this morning. A front is expected to bring rain to much of England this morning with a number of showers across Scotland and Northern Ireland. As the rain tracks east clearing into the North Sea this afternoon it becomes patchy and light. Then expect sunnier spells for most areas this afternoon along with a few scattered showers. A fine, dry evening to come across The United Kingdom then persistent rain spills in across the northern half of Britain. Cooler today with highs of 16 to 21C.
Friday
Rather wet with moderate to heavy rain today across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Light rain across northern England will tend to clear this afternoon as it brightens up. For the rest of England and Wales it stays dry with the best of the sunshine in the south. Some patchy rain to come across northern and western areas tonight. Highs of 16 to 24C north to south.
