Sunday
A hot day to come across central and southern England with high UV levels expected. For England and southern Scotland any low cloud will disperse to sunny skies this morning. More cloud though across Wales with a few spots of drizzle possible. Outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain will fall across Northern Ireland and northern Scotland. In the afternoon rain persists across Northern Ireland, Scotland and some light rain mores into Wales with a few showers across Wales. For the rest of England it's dry and sunny and hot. Maximum temperatures of 22c in Edinburgh, 26C for Birmingham and 29C in London.
Sunday Night
Dry and fine this evening across Northern Ireland with light rain across Scotland, northern England and Wales, continued dry elsewhere. Overnight as the weak front moves east we may see some heavy, thundery showers push up into Kent and eastern parts of Suffolk and Norfolk which could give some locally torrential downpours of rain. A warm, muggy night to come with lows of 9 to 13C but a muggy 17C in south east England.
Monday
A fresher day to come across Britain. For Wales, Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland and England there will be some heavy showers. Fine and sunny across central and eastern areas. In the afternoon the showers will become lighter with a few also possible into northern England but for the most part expect a good deal of dry weather across the country. Some rain to come for northern Scotland tonight. Showers in the west this evening will fade with most areas then dry tonight. A cooler night too. Highs of 17 to 23C north to south.
Tuesday
After a sunny start, expect scattered showers to develop across the south of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The showers in the south tend to become heavier in the afternoon perhaps reacting the South Midlands. Some light rain will affect the north of Scotland. In between it's mainly dry and fine with sunny spells. Showers in the south this evening become confined to south west England overnight with heavier rain for Scotland. Tops of 16 to 23C.
