Tuesday
Low pressure off northeast Scotland today, wth high pressure building through Ireland. The low off Scotland is going to bring cloud and some showery rain to much of central, northern and eastern Scotland this morning. Most of this will be light, although there is a chance of more persstent rain in the north. The rain should ease through the day with sunny spells coming through, although it will probably stay damp and cloud in Shetland and Orkney throughout. For much of the rest of Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland there will be sunny spells and it will be feeling cool. A few showers for Ireland and western parts of England and Wales, with an isolated one developing inland. As the day progresses the showers will be fading away with a pleasent evening to come for many areas. Temperatures at 15C in northern Scotland, but perhaps to 23C in the sunnier parts of southeast England.
Tuesday night
The cloud and outbreaks of rain continuing to affect Shetland early on n the night, but this fading after midnight. An odd shower could affect eastern coasts of England, although agan these tending to fade later. For the rest of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland the night is going to become dry and clear. A chilly night with lows of 3C in shelterecd parts of northern and central England, nearer 6C elsewhere.
Wednesday
High pressure stays with us through Wednesday. A chilly start to the day for all, wth still the rsk of a shower affecting the coasts of Norfolk. These are lkely to be lastng through the day, although god sunny spells in-between. Elsewhere it should be a fine day wth plenty of sunshine. The best of the sunshine for western Scotland, Wales and western England. Temperatures at 16C on East Anglian coasts, 23C in parts of southwest England.
Thursday
The high pressure stays with us through Thursday. Once again the northern wind will be bringing a few showers to the coasts of East Angla, these perhaps also affecting parts of Kent and Lincolnshire. To the west most of Wales, England and Scotland should be clear, although thicker cloud may affect the west of Ireland, bringing a rsk of showers here. Highs nearer 15 to 23C.
