Mostly sunny, dry Few showers across Scotland seiten=4 abk=focus
Wednesday
With a ridge of high pressure over the country, much of the United should have a settled day today. Just a few well scattered, light showers are possible around western coats of Scotland otherwise it's dry with sunny spells. Little change forecast into the afternoon with most places fine, dry and mostly sunny though just the odd shower is possible near the west coast of Scotland and around Irish Sea coasts. Maximum temperatures of 17c in Edinburgh, 19C for Birmingham and 21C in London.
Wednesday Night
Any isolated showers left across parts of Scotland will soon fade away early this evening with much of Britain dry with some early evening sunshine. Overnight it's dry across all areas with some patchy mist across central and southern England. Lows of 8 to 12C.
Thursday
More cloud possible this morning across East Anglia and the south east of England but this thins to sunny spells by the afternoon. A scattering of light showers will affect inland parts of Scotland otherwise the bulk of the United Kingdom will remain fine and dry with good sunny spells and light winds though very late in the afternoon some rain may reach western parts of Northern Ireland. Light rain across Northern Ireland will move onto the western shores of Scotland overnight. Tops of 18 to 22C north to south.
Friday
A two way split today. Across Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland, England and Wales there will be some showers but also some sunshine. Eastern areas will remain dry with the best of the sunshine. Any showers will become confined to the western coasts of Scotland this evening and tonight with all remaining areas dry with clear spells. Warmer in the south with high reaching 25C but generally expect 19 to 23C.
