Thursday
It will cloud over across western parts of Northern Ireland and here we may see some rain before the morning is out. Here it tends to linger into the afternoon. Apart from a few scattered showers across the northern half of Scotland the remainder of the United Kingdom is fine and mostly sunny this morning and for the afternoon too. With little in the way of wind it will feel pleasantly warm in the south. Maximum temperatures of 18C in Edinburgh, 20C for Birmingham and 21C in London.

Thursday Night
Overcast across Northern Ireland this evening with patchy, light rain. The rest of Britain should have a dry evening with early sunshine. Overnight the rain clears Northern Ireland and spreads into north west Scotland. A dry and chilly night for the bulk of the United Kingdom with clear spells. Lows of 7 to 10C.

Friday
After a chilly start it become quite warm in the south this afternoon. Across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales we'll see scattered showers developing through the morning and the afternoon but also expect good, dry sunnier intervals. For much of England it's a fine day to come with good sunny spells. Dry this evening except for a few showers across Shetland and the far north of Scotland. Overnight outbreaks of rain spill in across Northern Ireland reaching the Irish Sea coasts of Scotland and England. Tops of 16 to 20C for Northern Ireland and Scotland, 20 to 26C across England and Wales.

Saturday
A wet morning for Northern Ireland, Scotland and north west England and this rain moves into northern England and Wales during the afternoon. The rain looks heaviest across Scotland. Central and southern parts of England will stay dry and warm with the best of the sunshine. Later this evening the rain is expected to clear into the North Sea with just a few showers left around western coasts tonight. Highs reaching 23 to 25C but only 14 to 16C in the rainy areas.
