Gales & heavy rain Unseasonably cool seiten=4 abk=focus
Tuesday
It becomes very windy and wet across much of the United Kingdom today. Outbreaks of heavy rain across central and southern England along with Wales this morning soon spreads into northern England and southern Scotland. This will become heavy though Kent may stay dry. Gusty south west winds will strengthen to gale force in the south and west. Further spells of locally heavy rain will affect most areas into the afternoon but perhaps mainly dry in the far north of Scotland. Later the rain clears to showers across south west England. Temperatures will be in a range of 15 to 20C.
Tuesday Night
Still windy with further outbreaks of rain for most areas into the evening and now looks heaviest across Scotland. Overnight it looks drier across eastern parts of England while northern and western parts of the United Kingdom have more rain or some heavy showers. Quite a warm, muggy night with lows of 12 to 17C.
Wednesday
Quite a blustery, unsettled, cool and showery day to come for much of Britain on Wednesday with a gusty north west wind bringing plenty of heavy showers across the country. The winds should moderate through the evening and night but still some rain and showers to come in many areas though drier across Wales and south west England tonight. Highs of 15 to 21C.
Thursday
Largely dry across central parts of England this morning and into the afternoon. For the rest of the United Kingdom it's a cool, breezy day with a good deal of cloud and occasional, heavy showers with a slight risk of thunder. Continued windy this evening and tonight with most of the showers becoming confined to western coasts and across Scotland. Highs of 13 to 19C.
