Sunday
Rather cloudy through much of the Midlands, northern and eastern England this morning. There will be some showery bursts of rain, most of these light, although an odd moderate one cannot be ruled out. Most of the precipitation becoming confined to eastern England by the afternoon, although this should clear eastwards later with a few bright spells coming through, although the winds increasing For much of Wales and western England it should be largely dry, although a few showers are likely in the morning. The cloud will be breaking with sunny spells coming through, the best of these this afternoon. Rather windy with a chance of those winds to gale force for a time. Over Ireland and western Scotland winds will be lighter with plenty of sunshine, although cloud increasing in western Ireland making the sunshine more hazy. Highs at 16C in southern England, perhaps 18C over the sunnier skies of Ireland.
Sunday night
This evening sees most of Scotland, England and Wales being dry with broken cloud, although there is always a risk of a shower over East Anglia. Little change is expected here through the night. The thicker cloud over Ireland will bring rain into the far west in the evening, this spreading eastwards and turning heavier as it reaches western Scotland. Lighter and patchier rain over western Wales and southwest England. Lows around 6C under any clearer skies through the Midlands, 12C on coasts.
Monday
Turning unsettled over most of Wales and England with periods of rain. This rain turning more persistent through the morning with some heavier bursts here and there as low pressure spreads eastwards. Showers over Ireland, Wales and western England in the morning, although these fading in the afternoon when it should become dry with sunny spells. Plenty of dry conditions and sunshine for Scotland and the far north of England later. Turning much colder everywhere as the winds become more northerly, although these lighter for many than on Sunday. Highs at 12C in the northern Midlands in the sunshine, 17C over western Scotland.
Tuesday
Northerly winds over the whole of the UK and Ireland, with high pressure west of Ireland. There will be a risk of showers on the coasts of northeast England and East Anglia. Elsewhere it is going to be dry with sunny spells, although the winds will be strong over most of England making it feel cold. The best of the sunshine through southern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Highs around 21C in sheltered parts of Wales, 15C on the coasts of northeast England.
