Monday
A wet morning to come across southwest coasts of Scotland, the east of northern Ireland, coasts of northwest England, Wales, southwest England and the far west of the Midlands. The rain becomes heavy at times over Wales and then some heavy bursts over southwest England and the southwest Midland. By lunchtime though, drier weather will return to Northern Ireland, with some sunny spells coming through in southwest Scotland. Elsewhere expect a fair amount of cloud and mainly dry conditions in the morning, although a few brighter spells are likely in Scotland. The afternoon sees more rain across central and southern Wales, central southern England and the southwest. Sunny spells for western Scotland, northwest England and Ireland, with more cloud on eastern coasts of Scotland and eastern England. Mainly dry here, although an odd shower on the coasts of East Anglia. Temperatures at 14C over the cloudier, wetter parts of Wales and southwest Midlands, perhaps touching 19C over Norfolk and Suffolk.

Monday night
One area of rain clears southern coasts of England this evening, as strengthening northerly winds bring cloud and another area of rain to East Anglia and perhaps Lincolnshire. This rain spreads to southeast England after midnight, although remains light. For more western and northern areas it should be a dry night with some clear skies coming through. The wind should keep temperatures up in these areas to around 7 to 10C, although 4C is possible over the south-western parts of Scotland. Lows around 12C over East Anglia.

Tuesday
A cool and breezy day for much of eastern England. Outbreaks of mainly light rain in the morning affecting southern Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, East Anglia, Home Counties and southeast England. To the west it should be drier and brighter with some good spells of sunshine coming through. The afternoon sees the rain in the east easing off and probably becoming drier here, although showers can't be ruled out at anytime. The best of the sunshine is likely over western Scotland. Highs near 22C in western Scotland, 16C through eastern England.

Wednesday
High pressure to the west of Ireland, with low pressure east of the British Isles. Between the two, mainly northerly winds will be affecting the UK. There will be some cloud and a few showers for central and eastern parts of the UK. To the west is where the best of the sunshine will be found. Dry conditions here and feeling warm too at 23C. Cooler in the east at 17C.
