Thursday
More in the way of cloud on Thursday for much of the Midlands and parts of northern England, staying breezy as well, although the winds not as strong through southeast England as on Wednesday. There will be some outbreaks of rain, especially in the morning across East Anglia, the Home Counties and the far southeast, with most of the rain generally light. Little change is expected through the day. For southwest England, Wales, eastern Ireland and northern England there will be dry weather and sunny spells. For western and Northern Ireland as well as Scotland more cloud is likely, with some outbreaks of drizzle and rain affecting the far northwest. Temperatures at 23C in parts of Wales and southwest England, 17C over northern Scotland. Winds easing.
Thursday night
Overnight some drizzle and light rain drifting into the west and north of Ireland. Western and northern coasts of Scotland also having cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Over much of northwest England, Wales and southwest England there will be clearer spells and the night should stay dry. Further cloud extending into the Midlands, northeast England and East Anglia as well as the southeast where there may be a spot of drizzle. Lows staying in double figures at 10 to 14C.
Friday
Cloud and some light rain over the Western Isles and northwest England with a chance of some fog on the coasts. Most of eastern and southern Scotland and eastern Ireland should be dry with sunny spells, although low cloud may affect western coasts of Ireland at times. For northern England, Wales, southwest England and the Midlands should have a brighter day with good spells of sunshine. Thicker cloud in the far southeast of England with some spots of drizzle in Kent and Sussex as well as on the coasts of Essex. Tops at 26C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.
Saturday
A band of cloud and some showers passing southwards through Scotland, the concentration of the showers probably over the Southern Uplands and western Scotland. Breezy in Scotland too, with sunny spells in the east. The cloud also affecting Ireland with a chance of a shower here. Most of northern England should be dry and bright at first, but then cloud increasing with a risk of showers spreading from the north later. Wales and much of England should be dry with sunny spells and it may become very warm in the south at 27C. Cooler in northern Scotland at 15C.
