Best of the sun in the south Rain in northern Scotland seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
Plenty of sunshine through much of England and Wales this morning, and it should be dry as well. There could be some low cloud at first, especially over the hills of the southwest and also around northern coasts of Wales and northwest England. There could be some cloud over the north of Ireland too, and most of Scotland will have some cloud, perhaps thick enough to give some spots of rain in the northwest. For the afternoon much of England and Wales, as well as southern Ireland stay dry with more sunshine. Increased cloud over the north of northern England and Scotland, with a chance of patchy rain in the far northwest. Becoming windy in northern Scotland too. Highs at 24C in southern England, 14C in northern Scotland.
Sunday night
A fine evening to come over many parts of the country. Skies will be mainly clear for England, Wales and southern Ireland, although there may be a few mist patches forming towards dawn. The cloud will be thickening again through Scotland, with a chance of rain and strong winds affecting the north. Temperatures down to 8C in central Scotland, nearer 14C on southern coasts of England.
Monday
Morning mist patches clearing away, and then most of Monday morning should be bright with sunny spells over England and Wales. North Wales again has trouble with some low cloud. For Ireland and northern England the day will be starting with broken cloud and just an odd sunny spell coming through. In northern Scotland there could be some thicker cloud, again with outbreaks of rain, some of them heavy on the hills, whilst southern Scotland should be dry. The afternoon sees that rain continue over the far north of Scotland with areas to the south also seeing plenty of cloud. England and Wales will be dry with broken cloud and cooler than the past few days. Highs at 16 to 22C.
Tuesday
A cold front brings some showers to northern and eastern Scotland, as well as northeast England through Tuesday. To the west and south it should be brighter with some sunny spells, the best of the sunshine always through more southern parts of England. Temperatures at 14C in northern Scotland, 22C in southwest England.
