A fine day for many Chance of rain in the northeast seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
Some morning mist patches over central and southern parts of England, but these will be bringing away quickly in the sunshine. It will then be a fine morning for much of England, Wales and Ireland with lots of sunshine throughout the morning. Little change into the afternoon with more sunshine to come through all areas. Over Scotland cloud is going to be thicker as a weak cold front moves southwards. This will be bringing some outbreaks of rain in central and northern areas. The cloud and rain spread south in the afternoon, with most of this in central and eastern areas, although always only light. Becoming brighter over northern Scotland later. Temperatures at 23C in southern England, near 16C in northern Scotland.

Monday night
Cloud may slip into northeast England overnight, and this could bring a few showers in places. Clearer spells coming through over Scotland, although always some thicker cloud affecting western coasts. For England, Wales and Ireland there will be some clear spells coming through and it should be dry here as well. A cold night under clear skies with lows of 3C over parts of Scotland and northern England. Where there is more cloud in the east temperatures not below 9C.

Tuesday
A chilly morning across England and Wales. There will be plenty of sunshine around, and this is going to be persisting into the afternoon. There is a chance of a shower breaking out over northern England. Generally though, very little change through the day. Increasing cloud over Northern Ireland later may bring a few spots of rain here. For much of Scotland cloud is going to be broken with some sunny spells coming through, the best of them in the east. Highs around 15C in western Scotland, 22C in southern England.

Wednesday
Probably a cloudier start to the day across northern England, Scotland and Ireland. Western facing hills may see a few spots of drizzle, and there could be some fog shrouding the tops of the hills too. Further south it should be dry with sunny spells for many, although a risk of some fog patches affecting western coasts. Highs near 17C in western Scotland, 22C through southern England.
