Saturday
A rather cloudy morning over much of the west and north of the British Isles. There is a chance of drizzle affecting the coasts of Wales and northwest England as well as western Ireland. Hill fog shrouds these areas too. A breezier day over Scotland with cloud and rain in the north and west, some of this heavy in the western Highlands. For northeast England, East Anglia and southern England the cloud should slowly break. This will allow some bright or sunny spells to come through. By the afternoon much of England, away from western coasts will be dry with sunshine and will be feeling warm too. Staying damp in the west and north. Highs at 17C in western Scotland, 22C in southern England.

A band of more persistent rain pushes southwards through Scotland and Ireland this evening, with the winds increasing too. This rain will be into northern England after midnight and then into Wales by morning. At the same time the rain turns more showers in the north and west of Scotland. For the rest of England and southern Wales the night should be dry with some clear spells. Lows at 8C in northern Scotland, 14C in southern England.

A low risk of some heavier showers and stronger winds returning to Shetland later. Temperatures at 24C over the far south of England, 16C in northern Scotland.

Monday
A colder day for many on Monday with the winds turning into the north. Showers will be affecting the coasts of Scotland, as well as the northeast of England and East Anglia. Further showers may also blow into southeast England. For more western and central areas it will be a fair day overall with some sunny spells. However, a few showers can't be ruled out through the Midlands, northwest England and Wales. The best of the sunshine and dry weather for Ireland.
