Monday
Generally a dry, bright morning but with a good deal of cloud across England and Wales. Brighter and sunnier this morning across Northern Ireland and south west Scotland. In the afternoon some light rain may edge into the far north west of Scotland. Otherwise most places will be staying dry with varying amounts of cloud and occasional sunnier spells. Temperatures will be in a range of 13 to 20C.
Monday Night
Sporadic outbreaks of patchy light rain and drizzle across north west Scotland this evening will spread in across much of Scotland during the night. A fine dry evening and night for the remainder of England and Wales and feeling rather chilly by morning with some patches of ground fog in low lying locations. Lows of 8 to 10C.
Tuesday
A cloudy day across Northern Ireland and Scotland with some patchy rain though eastern parts of Scotland will be dry and brighter for the afternoon. Fine and mostly sunny across England and Wales in the morning and afternoon though more cloud and some patchy rain may affect North Wales and north west England in the afternoon. A lot of cloud across the country in the evening with light rain in the west. Overnight any patchy rain becomes confined to Scotland. Look for highs of 15 to 20C for most areas.
Wednesday
Some light rain is expected across the northern half of Scotland through the day. For the remainder of the United Kingdom high pressure will dominate giving all areas a fine, dry day with sunny intervals though we may see some locally dense patches of fog across the Midlands and southern England. All areas will have a dry evening and night with clear spells. A warmer day with maximum temperatures of 19 to 24C.
