Tuesday
It becomes breezy in the north. Outbreaks of rain spread in across Northern Ireland and the western half of Scotland, much of it light. Eastern Scotland along with England and Wales will be dry this morning with patchy ground fog clearing and sunny spells. In the afternoon rain will fall across Scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of northern England, perhaps some too for western coasts of Wales later. Elsewhere it remains fair and dry with sunshine and patchy cloud. Temperatures will be in a range of 15 to 21C.

Tuesday Night
Expect sporadic outbreaks of patchy light rain and drizzle across western Scotland and Cumbria this evening and tonight. A fine dry evening and night for the remainder of Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales with well broken cloud. A milder night with lows at 11 to 13C.

Wednesday
A cloudy day across western Scotland with some patchy rain while eastern parts of Scotland will be dry and brighter through the afternoon. Fine and mostly sunny across England and Wales in the morning and afternoon and becoming warm. A lot of cloud across Scotland in the evening with light rain in the west. Elsewhere it will be another fine evening with mostly clear skies and patchy fog developing in the night. Look for highs of 18 to 25C north to south.

Thursday
A summery day across England. Some light rain is expected across north west Scotland through the day. For the remainder of the United Kingdom high pressure will dominate giving all areas a fine, dry day with sunny intervals though we may see some locally dense patches of fog across the Midlands and southern England. All areas will have a dry evening and night with clear spells. Another warm day with maximum temperatures of 19 to 25C.
