Tuesday
There may be a few showers at first on the coasts of Norfolk, but these fading fairly quickly in the morning sunshine. Most of England and Wales then enjoy a fine morning with good spells of sunshine. Little change is expected in the afternoon, with more sunshine to come for many. Over Scotland and Ireland cloud is going to be thicker and this will be bringing some outbreaks of mainly light rain to northern and western Scotland as well as Ireland. The afternoon sees some spots of rain spreading into most of Scotland with fog on the hills. Patchy light rain in northern parts of Ireland, although drier to the south. Becoming breezy in northern Scotland. A warmer day in the south at 21C over southern England, 16C in northern Scotland.

Skies will be staying clear across most of England and eastern Wales tonight with the light winds allowing temperatures to fall quickly. More cloud across northern England and western Wales. patchy drizzle over Ireland, where it will be mainly cloudy, and staying cloudy in Scotland too. Further patchy rain could affect more western and northern parts of Scotland. Lows at 7C in the Midlands, 12C in western Scotland.
Wednesday
Generally a cloudier day for many. There will be some outbreaks of drizzle over northern Scotland, and perhaps a chance of early light rain over the Western Isles. There is also a chance of some drizzle very early in the morning over the coasts of northwest England and Wales. During the day sunny spells should come through the Midlands and southeast England. In the sunshine temperatures will be rising quickly to be around 23C, nearer 17C over central Scotland.
Thursday
The hint of some stronger winds and rain pushing into the west of Scotland today. A few showers in Northern Ireland and central Scotland running ahead of the rain. For most of England and Wales the day should be dry and warm. Wales may well see some thicker cloud, but to the east it should be staying fine. Highs at 23C in the sunshine, nearer 14C in northern Scotland.
