Patchy rain fizzling out Fine Saturday, rain Sunday seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
Any patchy light rain across Wales, The Midlands and East Anglia is forecast to fade away before the morning is over leaving a dry, brighter afternoon with developing sunshine. Some patchy rain may also affect Northern Ireland and Scotland through the day. The rest of the United Kingdom starts fair and dry with sunny spells and it remains fine into the afternoon with a mix of cloud and sunshine. Expect top temperatures of 12 to 16C for Scotland and Northern Ireland and 16 to 21C across England and Wales.

Friday Night
This evening looks fine and dry with well broken cloud across Britain. Apart from some rain reaching the far north west of Scotland later tonight, it's a dry, clear and colder night to come with a risk of a frost across Scotland, northern England and parts of North Wales. Minimums of 0 to 3C but 6 to 9C in the south.

Saturday
Cloudy, breezy and damp across northern Scotland this morning and the rain moves into all of Scotland in the afternoon. Some light rain too may reach northern parts of Northern Ireland after a dry morning. For England and Wales high pressure will give all parts a dry day with a fair amount of sunshine after patchy fog clears. A quite cold start though for northern areas. The rain peps up but stays confined to Scotland and Northern Ireland for the evening and night. Highs of 12 to 16C in the north 18 to 21C for the south.

Sunday
Some heavy bursts of rain are expected across Scotland and Northern Ireland. While this turns a bit light in the afternoon the rain band slips into northern and central parts of England along with Wales. Light rain across southern parts of England clears Wales and the Midlands this evening but the rain may pep up in the south east overnight. Pleasantly warm in the south with highs of 18 to 23C but 13 to 17C in the rainy north.
