Saturday
Mist and fog patches this morning over much of England and Wales. This should be clearing away fairly quickly and then the morning will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Southwest coasts of England and Wales will have lower cloud and some fog drifting off the sea from time to time although the chance of this does seem reasonably low. Little change this afternoon here with more sunshine and dry weather here. Central and eastern Scotland should start the day dry with good spells of sunshine, although it will be chilly. Western Scotland will be cloudy with periods of rain, and during the afternoon this will be spreading eastwards. The rain could become heavy over northwest Highland. For much of Ireland it will be dry with hazy spells of sunshine, although drizzle and fog affect western coasts of Ireland. Temperatures at 14C in northwest Scotland, 21C in the sunshine over southern England.

Saturday night
A dry night to come over much of England, Wales and southern Ireland. Skies will be generally clear and it will be remaining breezy. Cloud and rain spreading through Scotland and the north and west of Ireland. The rain is going to be heavy at times, mainly in the west of Scotland with a chance of some fog on the hills. Temperatures at 8C in the Midlands, nearer 12C for western Scotland.

Sunday
A windy day through most places. The rain and cloud will be slipping through Scotland and into northern England and Ireland, some of it heavy. For England and Wales the morning will be dry and breezy, plenty of sunshine here. Staying wet for northern England, Wales and southwest England as well as northern and western parts of the Midlands. Remaining dry in the far southeast with sunny spells. Much brighter for Ireland and Scotland with showers, mostly to the west. Highs at 23C in the far southeast of England, 14C in western Scotland.

Monday
Rain may linger over the far southeast of England early on Monday morning, some of it heavy. Much fresher and breezy for the rest of the country with a mix of sunshine and showers. Most of the showers will be through Wales, southwest England, Scotland and Ireland. Northeast England sees an increased risk of showers through the afternoon. Temperatures at 10C in northern Scotland, 19C in southern England.
