Sunday
Windy across northern parts of Britain today. An area of moderate to locally heavy rain is expected across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England this morning. For Wales and central and southern England it's a fine, dry, mostly sunny morning. The area of rain will spread into Wales and central parts of England this afternoon with sunshine and showers to follow for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Remaining bright, dry and warm in the south east. Expect top temperatures of 12 to 16C for Scotland and Northern Ireland and 19 to 23C across England and Wales.

Sunday Night
A damp evening for central and southern England then overnight the rain becomes confined to Kent and Sussex. Further showers are expected around western coasts and near the northern coast of Northern Ireland. Overnight light rain will affect Northern Ireland with showers around Irish Sea coasts and around the western and northern coasts of Scotland. Dry with clear spells and a frost across inland parts of northern Scotland. Minimums of 2 to 4C for northern Scotland otherwise 9 to 13C.

Monday
Feeling cold across Britain today with the winds from the north. Early residual rain across the far south east will clear this morning otherwise expect a good deal of cloud in most areas with showers. These will become heavier in the afternoon with more persistent rain perhaps for north east England. Rain is likely across south east England this evening and tonight as the showers fade and become confined to western coasts. A widespread frost is forecast for Scotland and northern England. Highs of 10 to 14C in the north 15 to 18C for the south.

Tuesday
Rain will fall across western parts of Scotland throughout the day. Apart from a few scattered showers for East Anglia and Kent, the rest of the United Kingdom should have a fine, dry day with lots of sunshine on offer. It becomes windy this evening and tonight as rain spreads into all of Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern parts of England. Highs of 10 to 16C.
