Outbreaks of rain, breezy Chance of heavy rain tonight seiten=4 abk=focus
Thursday
A cloudy and breezy morning to come across much of the British Isles and Ireland. There will be outbreaks of rain and drizzle, these tending to be concentrated over western parts of Wales and the more southern counties of England. Very little change through the course of the days with these places always getting some rain. Indications are that it should be drier over northern Wales and northern England as well as Ireland, although still plenty of cloud here. For Scotland it will be a windy day with further periods of rain, most of these affecting western areas. A breezy day with temperatures at 21C in the far south of England, 14C in western Scotland.
Thursday night
Rather breezy throughout the British Isles, with some spots of rain blowing on westerly winds, but mainly affecting the far south of England. After midnight heavier periods of rain will be spreading through Ireland, Wales and into northern England and western Scotland. The rain will be heavy at times with a chance of some flooding. Over the south it should be drier, although staying breezy. Lows near 9 to 14C.
Friday
Conditions do look likely to become much wetter for some parts of the country today. There will be heavy periods of rain across Ireland, Wales, northern England and western parts of Scotland bringing the risk of some local flooding. The afternoon sees the rain continuing over Wales, affecting southwest England, the Midlands and parts of northern England. It should become drier and brighter for Ireland, northern England and Scotland, although showers, some of the heavy will be over western and northern Scotland. The far southeast of England will be dry with sunny spells throughout the day, although windy. Temperatures at 15C in the north, 21C in the south.
Saturday
The far southeast will be staying cloudy and rather damp, with outbreaks of mainly light rain. Another area of rain will be affecting northern and western Scotland, although most of this light and patchy. In-between it should be dry with some sunny spells coming through, the best of these over southern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Highs near 14C in the cloudier weather of Scotland, nearer 21C in southern England.
