Friday
A dry, bright morning top come for western parts of Scotland and the south west of England. A cold, brisk north easterly wind will bring a lot of cloud to the remainder of Britain along with outbreaks of rain. The rain may be a bit heavier across eastern parts of England. Into the afternoon we should not see much of a change with western parts of Britain along with Northern Ireland, dry and brighter with rain for most other areas. The cold wind and cloud will suppress the temperatures with tops of 10 to 16C.

Friday Night
Continued windy this evening and overnight with rain this evening across Wales and much of England apart from the south west. Scotland and Northern Ireland to stay dry. Overnight any rain clears northern England with light rain lingering across Wales and central and southern parts of England. With lighter winds and clear skies across northwest Scotland expect a frost. Minimums of 6 to 11C but down to -1 to 2C for the north west of Scotland.

Saturday
Becoming less windy this morning in the south east. Some patchy rain across Wales will tend to linger throughout the course of the day with a few widely scattered showers for the far south of England. Elsewhere it's dry but with a good deal of cloud. Best chance of having some sunshine will be across western Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England. Mainly dry tonight across Britain with a frost expected across northern Scotland. Highs of 12 to 18C.

Sunday
Some patchy rain across Wales first thing should clear as it brightens up later this morning and into the afternoon. Fog patches through central and southern parts of England will clear. Otherwise the bulk of the United Kingdom looks fair and dry throughout the day with some decent spells of sunshine though some light rain may affect Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Through the evening and night a band of rain is forecast to move into the far south of England. Highs of 13 to 19C.
