Saturday
A dry, bright morning for Northern Ireland, north west Scotland and south west England. A cloudy, misty and damp start to the morning for the remainder of Britain. Much of the patchy rain fizzles out later this morning. So apart from scattered showers across Wales and down in the south west, it's a mainly dry afternoon. Still a lot of cloud but there will be some sunshine coming through, especially in the west. Look for highs at 12 to 16C.

Saturday Night
For Wales and the south west of England just the odd light shower may persist into the evening and night but mainly dry here. Rain is forecast to spread into Northern Ireland this evening and stays overnight. A colder night with a touch of frost across inland parts of northern England and Scotland. Minimums of 6 to 11C but down to 0 to +3C for the north.

Sunday
We could see some locally dense fog patches across central and southern England taking some time to clear this morning otherwise a lot fine, dry weather across Britain. For the afternoon a few showers are forecast far Northern Ireland and it clouds over across Cornwall in advance of the next weather system. The rest of the country stays fine with sunny spells. Moderate to heavy spells of rain spread into south west England this evening then into all of central and southern England along with Wales overnight. Highs of 13 to 19C.

Monday
A band of rain will lie across Wales into central and northern England this morning, dry and sunnier to the north and south. The rain clears much of The Midlands and Wales by the afternoon but lingers across northern England with some heavier bursts likely. Sunniest across northern Scotland. Through the evening and night the rain becomes light and affects northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. The West Country may see some showers.
