Variable cloud and dry Frost tonight seiten=4 abk=focus

Saturday
Quite a cloudy morning to start the day through Northern Ireland and northern England as a weak cold front pushes southwards. It should be mainly dry here, although a few spots of drizzle can't be ruled out. It will be staying fairly cloud through the areas in the afternoon, although a few bright spells may break through the cloud here and there. Cloud increases through Wales and the Midlands as well in the afternoon, with some cloud into East Anglia. For more southern parts of England there will be some dense fog patches at first, these clearing to leave the day dry with sunny spells. More sunshine will be affecting the far north of Scotland, although an odd shower can't be ruled out in Shetland and Orkney. Temperatures at 11C in northern Scotland, nearer 16C in southwest England.

Saturday night
Bonfire parties should fair well over the whole of the country tonight. High pressure will become centred over northern England. There will be variable cloud, the thickest of it through Northern Ireland, northwest England and parts of Wales. Elsewhere some clearer spells, with mist and fog patches forming, becoming dense by the morning over southern and central England. More patchy mist and fog for Scotland, but dry here. A chilly night to come everywhere, lows at 4 or 5C for most, nearer 2 to 3C over central and northern Scotland.

Sunday
High pressure is going to be centred over the country through today. That will be bringing light winds together with some mist and dense fog patches in the morning. It will be a chilly start too with a frost in places. Most of England, Wales and western Scotland will be fair with lots of sunshine, and it should be dry too. More northern and eastern areas are going to be seeing more in the way of cloud, but should be dry, although some spots of rain may affect northern Scotland. Temperature4s at a cooler 11 to 14C.

Monday
A front drifts down from the northwest of Monday bringing some outbreaks of rain through Scotland and into Northern Ireland and northern England. Much cooler, brighter weather follows to northern Scotland, together with a brisk northwest breeze. For southern parts of England it should be a dry day with some spells of sunshine and temperatures around 10C in northern Scotland, 15C in southwest England.
