Sunday
A cloudy, misty morning across England and Wales but it looks essentially dry. Some locally dense fog patches to may be found across central and northern parts of England. Brighter for southern Scotland with rain in the north west of Scotland. In the afternoon the rain in the north west turns heavier spreading into much of northern Scotland. Dry for the bulk of the United Kingdom and the cloud should thin allowing some bright or sunnier spells to develop in places. Temperatures remaining above the norm or early November by a few degrees down from previous days with highs of 12 to 16C north to south.
Sunday Night
It becomes increasingly windy across Scotland as the rain in the north spreads into southern areas as well. For Northern Ireland, Wales and England it's a dry evening and night with clear spells and much lighter winds. This will lead to mist tonight and some dense fog patches, particularly through the Midlands and southern parts of England. Continued mild tonight for Scotland with lows of 8 to 10C but dropping to around 5C in any clear periods in the south.
Monday
Windy for Scotland, breezy for England and Wales. As the rain clears Scotland this morning it slips into northern England and Wales, much of it light by then. Brighter and dry to the south with showers moving into western Scotland. In the afternoon an area of light rain is expected across central and north eastern parts of England along with Wales. Further showers will affect western Scotland and Northern Ireland with the south of England remaining dry. By tonight the patchy rain clears the south east of England. Highs of 10 to 15C.
Tuesday
A colder day to come across much of the United Kingdom as the winds veer to the north west. The north and north west of Scotland will see some patchy rain at times during the day. For the rest of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland it's looking dry with varying amounts of cloud and sunnier spells. More rain to come for the north of Scotland tonight. With varying cloud across the rest of the country it stays dry with highs of 8 to 12C north to south.
