Monday
Fine and dry across Northern Ireland with sunny spells and cloud. A dry morning too for south west England but more cloud here for the afternoon with some patchy rain on the north coasts. The rest of the United Kingdom looks cloudy and misty in the morning with patchy light rain and drizzle. By the end of the afternoon any patchy rain will be confined to eastern parts of England and northern Scotland. Temperatures will be above normal in the west with highs of 10 to 15C but colder in the east with tops of 5 to 9C.

Monday Night
It remains cloudy with some patchy rain this evening and tonight across the south east of England. More persistent rain will push into the north of Scotland tonight. For the bulk of the United Kingdom it's a dry night with cloud and occasional clear spells. Expect lows of 5 to 8C.

Tuesday
A lot of low cloud and mist across England and Wales this morning but for the afternoon there should be some hazy sunshine coming through in places. Northern parts of England though will see some patchy rain at times. For Scotland and Northern Ireland it's looking overcast and wet with outbreaks of moderate rain for much of the day. Rain is forecast to affect the northern half of Britain for this evening and night while the south stays dry with fog patches developing in the night. Continued mild with highs of 10 to 14C north to south.

Wednesday
An area of moderate to locally heavy rain is expected across northern parts of the United Kingdom and is expected to drift into Wales and south west England during the afternoon. Central, southern and eastern England look dry and bright with lots of cloud and the best of the sunshine towards Kent and Sussex. As the rain moves into southern England tonight it turns cold across Scotland with some snow on the hills. Highs of 9 to 13C.
