Thursday
A windy, wet start to the morning across the far south east of England but soon the rain clears to sunny skies. Apart from sore rain in the north west of Scotland, it's fine and dry across the bulk of the United Kingdom with good sunny spells. In the afternoon the rain across northern Scotland moves into Northern Ireland, western Scotland and later into Cumbria. The rest of Britain stays fine and dry with sunnier spells and occasional cloud. A colder day today with highs of 6 to 10C for most places.

Thursday Night
It becomes windy with rain into al but central and southern parts of England this evening. Overnight this rain spreads into all but the south east of England and will be heavy across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Winds will remain strong from the southwest so a mild night with lows of 6 to 10C.

Friday
Wet, windy and misty across the United Kingdom this morning with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. A belt of heavy rain will lie from northern England to North Wales. All parts of the United Kingdom then will be very wet and windy into the afternoon with spells of heavy rain though the rain looks lightest across East Anglia and south east England. The rain clears the east this evening with plenty of showers, some heavy piling into the west. Continued mild with highs of 10 to 15C north to south.

Saturday
A colder and windy day too come. Much of central and eastern parts of England and Scotland will be dry in the main with sunny spells while frequent, heavy showers wit a risk of thunder or hail are likely. One or two may penetrate in central areas and towards the far south of England in the afternoon. Continued windy tonight with showers lingering in the west though more persistent rain may move into Cornwall. Dry with clear spells in the east. Highs of 5 to 9C.
