Wet, windy and mild Heavy showers Saturday in west seiten=4 abk=focus
Friday
A band of heavy rain will stretch from Scotland into Northern Ireland this morning. For England and Wales it's a misty, murky morning with outbreaks of drizzly rain. Extensive fog will affect the coasts, hills and trans Pennines routes. So a wet, windy but very mild afternoon to come across Britain with spells of locally heavy rain though it will be much lighter across East Anglia and the south east of England. Temperatures will be well above normal for the last day of November with tops of 11 to 15C.
Friday Night
Continued windy this evening with still some heavy rain for Scotland and eastern parts of England. Elsewhere it will be drier but with some heavy showers in the west. A blustery night to follow with heavy showers running onto the western coasts of the United Kingdom. Central and eastern areas look dry with clear spells. A colder night tonight with lows of 1 to 4C in the north and 5 to 7C in the south but too much wind for any frost tonight.
Saturday
A colder, windy day to come across the United Kingdom. Much of central and eastern parts of England and Scotland will be dry in the main with sunny spells while frequent, heavy showers with a risk of thunder or hail are likely. One or two may penetrate in central areas and towards the far south of England in the afternoon. Continued windy tonight with showers lingering in the west though more persistent rain will spill in across into south west England, Wales and central and southern England. Dry with clear spells in the east. Highs of 5 to 10C.
Sunday
Windy with gales sweeping across Wales and southern England today with gusts possible of 60 mph around exposed coasts. A dry, cold day for northern Scotland. For the rest of Britain heavy rain will be clearing before the afternoon. A number of heavy, fast moving showers then to come across western parts of the country while central and eastern areas become dry and sunnier though rain may linger across northern England and Northern Ireland. The rain then becomes light and patchy tonight with showers persisting around western coasts. Highs of 4 to 8C in the north, 9 to 13C in the south.
