Saturday
A colder, windy day to come across the United Kingdom. Much of central and eastern parts of England and Scotland will be dry in the morning with good sunny. In the west there will be a number of showers which will become more frequent and heavy showers with a risk of thunder or hail. During the afternoon One or two may penetrate in central areas and towards the far south of England. Temperatures will be down from yesterday with highs of 6 to 10C.
Saturday Night
Continued windy this evening and tonight. This evening heavy showers will persist around western coasts but dry with clear spells for central and eastern parts of Scotland. Overnight it stays fine here but we will see more persistent rain spreading into Northern Ireland, south west England and Wales with showers for western Scotland and north west England. Lows of 5 to 9C.
Sunday
A stormy day to come, particularly in the south. We're expecting gale to severe gales to sweep across Wales and southern England today with gusts possible of 70 or 80 mph around exposed southern coasts. Heavy rain also sweeps into all parts of the United Kingdom this morning and lingers for much of the afternoon then clears to heavy showers in the west. 20-30mm of rain are possible across south west England and Wales. It turns drier and colder tonight as the winds switch to the north west but showers will affect the west. Highs of 6 to 8C in the north, 10 to 14C in the south.
Monday
Breezy with good sunny spells this morning but a few showers will be found around western coasts. In the afternoon more persistent rain eventually moves into south west England, western Wales and Northern Ireland with a few showers for western Scotland. Central and eastern parts of England and Scotland dry with the best of the sunshine. More rain then spreads into all parts of the United Kingdom this evening and overnight. Highs of 6 to 10C.
