Saturday
Gales across north east England and eastern Scotland will lessen this morning. An area of moderate rain will affect northern Scotland with snow on the mountains. Cloudy too across northern England and with some light rain. A lot of cloudy for Wales, Northern Ireland and the rest of England but it will be dry with a few brighter spells across eastern Wales and south east England. In the afternoon more steady and heavier rain is expected for Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England though in eastern parts of Scotland the rain will be quite light. Dry then for central and southern parts of England along with Wales though some patchy drizzle may affect the northern Welsh Hills. We may see the cloud thinning at times to give some sunshine in the south east. Very mild with highs of 8 to 11C but just 3 to 4C for northern Scotland.

Saturday Night
Outbreaks of heavy rain are forecast for northern parts of Scotland this evening with lighter rain for southern Scotland and northern England. Wales, the rest of England along with Northern Ireland will be fair and dry. Overnight gales will affect the northern half of the United Kingdom with light rain for northern England and much of Scotland though some heavy bursts will persist in the far north and across Shetland. Further south it remains dry but with a good deal of cloud. A mild night lows of 6 to 9C.

Sunday
Another mild one for all parts of the United Kingdom on Sunday. Sporadic outbreaks of mainly light, patchy rain and drizzle will affect western parts of Scotland throughout the course of the day with some drizzle too around Irish Sea coasts at times. For England and Wales it's a dry day with occasional large amounts of cloud breaking to give some bright or sunny spells at times. The gusty south west wind will keep some drizzly rain across western Scotland for the evening and night. For the bulk of Britain it will be dry overnight with clear spells and cloud. Expect highs of 9 to 13C north to south.

Monday
Increasingly windy across Northern Ireland and western Scotland today. Light rain across western Scotland is expected to spread in across Northern Ireland, the rest of Scotland, north west England and parts of Wales where it will be very patchy and light. A belt of heavy rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland in the evening will clear northern Scotland overnight as it drifts into northern England. A few snow showers will develop across the Highlands as it turns colder. Expect highs of 9 to 12C.
