Mild with sunny spells Fog & frost tonight seiten=4 abk=focus
Saturday
Quite a windy morning for the northern half of the United Kingdom with gales across northern parts of the country. Cloud will thicken up in the west this morning to bring some rain to the Western Isles and the far north west of Scotland in the afternoon. A dry day for England and Wales with patchy fog and frost across The Midlands and southern England clearing otherwise bright with some sunshine. Here expect a pleasantly mild afternoon with plenty of sunshine for most places. Maximum temperatures of 10 to 13C.
Saturday Night
Still some light rain to come across northern Scotland for this evening and overnight but much less windy. Continued fine and dry for this evening across southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales with well broken cloud. It stays dry tonight and with little in the way of cloud or wind, a colder night with a light frost and patches of dense fog for central and southern England along with the Vale of York. Look for lows of 0 to 4C but 8C in northern Scotland.
Sunday
Any drizzly rain in the north of Scotland will retreat north to across the Northern Isles for the afternoon. Locally dense fog patches in the morning will take some time to clear. All parts will be dry with spells of sunshine through the day though perhaps staying cloudy where fog lingers the longest. Dry for all parts into the evening and night with low cloud, fog patches and a frost for many areas. Unseasonably mild again with highs of 10 to 13C.
Monday
With high pressure dominating it will keep fronts to the north so another dry day for the bulk of the United Kingdom. While there should be some good spells of sunshine throughout the day, dense morning fog patches across the Midlands, southern England and around the Vale of York may be slow to clear. Continued dry into the evening and night with patchy frost and fog once again. Remaining mild across the United Kingdom with highs of 9 to 12C.
