Sunday
High pressure dominates the weather throughout Sunday. There will be some morning frost and fog patches over much of England and Wales, as well as southern Scotland. There is a chance that the fog will not clear until later in the morning in some sheltered parts, but where it does the morning should be dry with some good spells of sunshine. Over northern and western Scotland there will be a band of cloud, bringing a few spots of rain. Little change is expected through the afternoon with more sunshine to come for most. For Scotland the cloud becomes confined to the far north, with other places having sunny spells. Highs at 9C in northern Scotland, 12C in much of England and Wales.
Sunday Night
Clear skies over much of the country through this evening. Temperatures will be falling quickly and mist or fog patches are likely to be forming, some of them dense in places. A widespread frost by the morning. For Scotland there will be more in the way of cloud, but this should be fairly well broken. Low temperatures at 0 to -2C under the clearer skies, 2 to 4C in the cloud through Scotland.
Monday
Mist and fog patches again on Monday morning, some of those dense in places. The mist and fog patches slow to clear, although they should go eventually. It will then be a fair morning over much of the country with more sunshine. There is a chance of some low cloud drifting across East Anglia later. Little change in the afternoon with light winds and plenty of sunshine. It should stay dry everywhere. Highs at 7C in central Scotland, 12C in southern England.
Tuesday
Morning frost and fog patches on Tuesday morning. These should be clearing away steadily. The morning is then going to be bright with long spells of sunshine. It will be remaining dry and sunny through the course of the afternoon too. The best of the sunshine across northern Wales and perhaps northwest England. Temperatures at 8 to 10C.
