Monday
With high pressure dominating, all parts of the United Kingdom will have a dry day. While Northern Ireland and Scotland will have lots of cloud at times, for England and Wales there should be a good deal of sunshine to be found. A cold, frosty morning though with a few locally dense fog patches that may take some to clear this morning. Temperatures will be well above normal for this time of year with maximum temperatures of 9 to 13C.
Monday Night
For Northern Ireland and Scotland we should see more in the way of cloud breaks coming through this evening and tonight as it becomes cold and frosty. England and Wales will have a fine evening and temperatures fall, frost will be forming this evening, becoming widespread and sharp overnight. Locally dense patches of freezing fog may also affect The Midlands up into the Vale of York. Look for lows of 0 to -4C with 3 to 5C around coasts.
Tuesday
With high pressure dominating it will keep fronts to the north so another dry day for the bulk of the United Kingdom. While there should be some good spells of sunshine throughout the day, dense morning fog patches across the Midlands, southern England and around the Vale of York may be slow to clear. Continued dry into the evening and night with a widespread frost and fog once again likely to develop. Remaining mild across the United Kingdom with highs of 9 to 13C.
Wednesday
some light rain and drizzle will affect the Northern Isles through today. Otherwise it's more of the same with all parts of mainland Britain staying fine and dry with sunny spells once any dense fog patches clear in the morning. Another cold, frosty start to most areas. Then during the evening and night more frost and fog patches will again form. We are expecting top temperatures of 9 to 13C.
