Cloudy and cold Fine across Northern Ireland seiten=4 abk=focus
Thursday
A cold frosty morning across Northern Ireland and the far west of Scotland and Cumbria. For the rest of the United Kingdom it's a grey, dull morning with plenty of low cloud which may give some spots of drizzle to east facing hills. We're not expecting much of a change for the afternoon with much of Britain cloudy and colder with patchy drizzle in the east. Still some sunshine for the far west of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cold with highs of 5 to 8C.
Thursday Night
Apart from Northern Ireland where it's mostly clear and frosty tonight, lots of low cloud again is expected into the evening and night across much of the United Kingdom so not much of frost risk tonight. Quite misty as well with some patchy drizzle likely in the east and over the hills. Look for lows of 2 to 5C for most places with a light easterly wind but near freezing across Northern Ireland.
Friday
Bright across Northern Ireland today with morning fog and frost clearing to bright or sunny spells. A rather grey, dull morning and afternoon for all parts of the country with patchy drizzle though perhaps a few chinks in the cloud could give the odd bright or fleeting sunnier spell to the west of high ground. Generally it stays cloudy and misty into the evening and night though clear spells across Northern Ireland will give some fog and frost again. Highs of 4 to 8C.
Saturday
Another dull, misty morning with some patchy drizzle in places. In the afternoon the cloud should thin to give some brighter spells of parts of England and Wales with the best of the sunshine again to be found across Northern Ireland. As cloud breaks this evening there is a risk of a widespread frost developing across much of Scotland, England and Wales during the night. We are expecting top temperatures of 4 to 8C.
