Sunday Night
Rain spreads into Northern Ireland and south west England and western Wales this evening and becomes heavy sweeping into all parts overnight. In the afternoon the heavy rain lingers across England and Wales with showers across the north and again will be wintry over high ground. Gusts up to 70 or 80 mph may redevelop across southern Wales and south west England. Gales are expected into the evening and night across England and Wales as the winds switch around to the north west so turning colder and staying damp with more rain for most areas. Expect highs of 4 to 9C.
