Rather cloudy & dry All change tonight seiten=4 abk=focus
Easter Sunday
There will be a fair amount of cloud around all parts of the British Isles this morning. Some patches of drizzle down the North Sea drifting onto the coasts of East Anglia. Further spots of drizzle for the far west and north of Scotland. Elsewhere it should be dry, albeit rather cloudy. However, a few breaks in the cloud may give some brighter moments over the southern Midlands and parts of southern England. Little changes for the afternoon, although the rain in northwest Scotland may turn more persistent for a time. Generally though it is going to be stay dry and rather cloudy for most, and again a few spots of light drizzle could affect the coasts of East Anglia. Temperatures reaching 6C in northeast Scotland, 9C in southwest England.
Sunday Night
Overnight conditions start to change as low pressure pushes fronts into Scotland, bringing outbreaks of rain. The winds strengthen as the rain pushes south into the far north of England and becomes heavy at times. Those winds may well touch gale force. For the rest of England, Wales and Ireland the night is going to be a dry one. There will be a fair amount of cloud around and just a touch of frost, lows near 1C in southern England, 5C in northern Scotland.
Monday
That rain pushes southwards through Thursday morning bringing strong to gale force winds to much of Scotland and northern England, as well as Northern Ireland. The winds increasing through southern England too, with the rain into the southeast by mid morning. Further west the rain is likely to be lighter, although it will still be windy here. The afternoon sees the heavy bursts of rain continuing southwards. Most of the rain cross the Midlands, East Anglia, southeast England and Wales. Rain becoming lighter and more showery in Scotland, but turning colder here with snow on the hills. Winds to gale force again with highs at 9C in southwest England, 6C in northwest Scotland but falling later.
Tuesday
The weather seems unaware that we are entering a holiday weekend. It is going to be cold on Friday in strong northerly winds, these touching gale force in the east. Patchy rain affecting much of eastern England, with some snow over the hills of Scotland. More western areas should be drier with the chance of a few bright spells here. Temperatures not rising above 3 or 4C in Scotland, nearer 8C in southwest England.
