Heavy rain sweeping away Gales, heavy blustery showers seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
Very windy and very wet across all parts of the United Kingdom to start the morning with heavy spells of rain sweeping east. Through the morning this persistent rain will clear from all but East Anglia, Sussex and Kent as heavy, blustery showers move in behind the main rain band. Gales will affect most areas with gusts to 55 mph in the west. Still very windy into the afternoon with heavy, frequent showers across the United Kingdom as the rain clears the south east. The showers may become prolonged, and mixed with hail, mainly in the west. Look for highs of 6 to 9C in the north and 10 to 12C for the south.

Friday Night
It remains windy this evening with most of the showers to become confined to western parts of Scotland, England and Wales though the gusty wind may push a few into the Midlands. Overnight further showers, some heavy will persist in the west while another area of more persistent rain reaches Wales and western Cornwall before morning. Eastern and central parts will be dry with well broken cloud. Expect lows at 1 to 5C but too much wind for any frost to form tonight.

Saturday
Windy this morning with a dry morning for East Anglia and the far south east of England. Elsewhere rain spreads in during the morning and will be heavy across Wales and north west England. Continued windy and although it becomes cloudy across East Anglia and the south east, it stays dry. More rain to come for the bulk of Britain and will remain heavy across Wales, south west England and northern England. The rain clears into the North Sea this evening with clear spells and showers for most places into the night. Highs today of 7 to 12C north to south.

Sunday
A lot of dry weather about this morning but there will be a number of showers, these mainly in the north and west this morning. In the afternoon these tend to become heavy across Wales and north west England with eastern parts of England and Scotland mainly dry with the best of the sunshine. Showers will linger around western coasts into the evening and night and we may see an area of steady rain moving into south west England before dawn. Highs today of 7 to 11C.
