Wednesday
A cold morning with a frost at first inmost places. Good sunny spells too but showers will develop across Wales and northern parts of England. It remains fine and sunny across East Anglia and the south east of England. Elsewhere expect a mixture of cloud, sunny spells and showers. A few of the showers will be locally heavy. Expect highs of 6 to 8C in the north and 9 to 12C in the south.

Wednesday Night
Still a few showers across the Midlands with some patchy rain across Wales, Northern Ireland and north west England. Fair and dry for the rest of Britain with well broken cloud. Not as cold overnight wit some light rain across Wales, north west England and southern Scotland. Mostly clear across the remainder of Britain with a patchy frost developing. Lows down to 0 to -1C but -4C for northern Scotland.

Thursday
Much of southern England will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Elsewhere expect showers interspersed with sunnier spells. It remains dry and mostly sunny across The Midlands, East Anglia and the south of England this afternoon with further showers expected across the rest of the United Kingdom. Again some of these will be heavy in places. An area of rain is expected across Scotland, Wales and western parts of England this evening and this quickly moves east clearing the south east early in the night with showers to follow in the west. Highs of 8 to 13C.

Friday
With low pressure areas dominating, showers are expected across much of the United Kingdom along with occasional, sunny, dry spells. Fewer showers are expected in the north east and across Kent and Sussex. Some rain will spread across Scotland tonight with some snow over the northern hills. Mostly clear across England and Wales with some patchy frost. Highs of 7 to 13C.
