Sunday
Low pressure is going to be remaining close to the country through Sunday bringing a day of sunny spells and showers for most. The showers tending to move southwards through the country in bands. These could be heavy at times and there is a risk of thunder too. There will be some sunny spells between the showers, the best of these, and least frequent of the showers is probably going to be the south of Wales. Thicker cloud and a more organised area of rain affects the far north of Scotland, although most of this should be light. Temperatures rising to 7C in northern Scotland, but a respectable 14C in the sunshine over southern England.
Sunday Night
Still some fairly hefty showers left around this evening, but these should be fading away. The rain in northern Scotland will be pushing south, reaching northern England through the early hours and then into the north Midlands and Wales by the morning, most of this light. Elsewhere it should become dry with clearer skies. A frost is likely in the far south of England, lows here near 1C, but temperatures holding to 4C through northern and eastern England, as well as eastern Scotland.
Monday
Showery bursts of rain and some cloud at first through the Midlands and East Anglia, this pushing into the southeast in the afternoon. Further showers across the north and east of Scotland too. For all other areas throughout the day should dawn bright with some sunny spells. The afternoon sees scattered showers developing through Scotland and England, but for Wales, southwest England and Ireland the day should become dry with good sunny periods. Tops at 7 to 11C.
Tuesday
Showers for the east of Scotland and England today, these tending to be fairly well scattered and mainly affecting the coasts. Further west it should be a dry day with some good spells of sunshine. Little change is expected through the day with temperatures rising to 8C in Scotland, 11C over southern England.
