Monday
A reasonable start to the working week across much of the country. There will be some showers for eastern parts of Scotland and eastern England, but further to the west conditions will be dry. All parts are likely to see some sunny spells, the best of these again through more western areas. Monday afternoon sees a risk of showers over England and eastern Scotland, most of these light, but an odd heavier one can't be ruled out in the east. For Wales and much of western England and Ireland the day should be dry with sunny spells. Thicker cloud affecting northern Scotland. A cold day in northern Scotland at 7C, but nearer 12C in southern England.
Monday Night
Most of the showers fading away quickly through this evening. Skies are then going to become clear overnight, and with mainly light winds a widespread frost is going to form. There could be a few showers around the northwestern parts of Scotland, but these should be light. Temperatures down to -4C through parts of the Midlands, nearer 0 to -2C elsewhere.
Tuesday
A sunny and cold start to the day for many of us on Tuesday. There will be some thicker cloud over northern Scotland, and it is here that there could be a few showers. To the south a few showers may break out across the Pennines by late morning, but for most it should be a fine start to the day. The afternoon sees a risk of some light showers across much of northern England and eastern Scotland. Elsewhere the day is going to be dry with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures around 8C in northern Scotland, but as high as 14C in southwest England.
Wednesday
Another frosty start the the day on Wednesday. Most places are then going to be dry with plenty of sunshine. The winds will be starting to pick up from the southeast across much of southwest England, Wales and Ireland later in the day. Cloud may thicken in the extreme southwest too, bringing some outbreaks of rain later. Feeling cold in the wind, highs ranging from 9C in northern Scotland to 11C in southern England.
