Thursday
A breezy morning to come across much of the United Kingdom. Most places will be dry with sunnier spells after any patchy, light rain across northern parts of Wales and north west England soon clears. Remaining breezy for this afternoon and we'll see an area of light rain spreading west into Scotland with a bit of wet snow over the Highlands. For England and Wales along with Northern Ireland it's a fair, dry and bright afternoon with sunny spells, these more likely towards the west with a brisk easterly wind blowing in off the North sea. Expect highs of 7 to 9C along North Sea coasts with 10 to 12C in the west.

Thursday Night
Still breezy with some light rain across Scotland this evening and this moves into Northern Ireland. Remaining dry across England and Wales. Rather windy then for tonight with light rain for Scotland and north east England. Later another area of light rain will spread along the channel coasts. Dry in between these two areas of rain. Lows down to 3 to 6C for most places.

Friday
Quite a windy and colder day to come across the United Kingdom. All areas can expect sporadic outbreaks of rain in the morning. This tends to clear from Scotland in the afternoon. Dry too across Northern Ireland. Rain spreads back into all parts of the United Kingdom tonight with some heavy rain expected in the far south of England. Highs of 6 to 9C.

Saturday
