Saturday
A damp start to the morning over much of southern and southeastern England. There will be outbreaks of rain, most of them light, but a few moderate bursts coming in places too. The outbreaks of rain reaching the east of Wales too. For the rest of Wales and much of northern England and Ireland the morning is rather cloudy, but dry overall, although a few spots of drizzle can't be ruled out. Staying breezy across the whole of England, Wales and Ireland. For Scotland it should be a brighter, drier start to the day, the best of the sunshine in the west. Little change for Saturday afternoon with much of England and Wales cloudy and rather damp, most of the rain through the Midlands. Fog shrouds the hills of Wales and northern England. The best of the weather reserved for Scotland where it will be a fine day throughout in the west. Temperatures at just 7 or 8C in the cloud to the south, nearer 11C in western Scotland.
Saturday Night
More periods of rain across England, Wales and the far south of Ireland tonight. Most of these are only going to be light, but a few moderate bursts are likely on the hills too. Turning misty later, fog shrouding the hills. It is going to be a drier night for Scotland. Here skies will be clear in the west, although cloud increasing towards the east. A frost in western Scotland with lows of -2C, but holding to 4 to 6C over England and Wales.
Sunday
A cloudy start to the morning again, with a stiff east breeze blowing once again. Plenty of cloud for England, Wales and Ireland, again with some outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. More persistent rain will be moving into southern counties of England during the afternoon. Elsewhere it stays cloudy and damp. A cloudier day for eastern and central Scotland too with a few spots of drizzle on the hills. Brighter to the west though, with some sunny spells for the western Isles. Temperatures at 8 to 11C.
Monday
Rain for northern parts of England on Monday, especially the northeast. Cloudy through southern counties, but gradually brightening up as high pressure builds. The sun may come out here, and if it does it will be feeling much milder than recent days. A few spots of rain across central and eastern Scotland once again, but to the west it should be drier and brighter with some sunny spells. Rather cloudy but mainly dry for Ireland. Temperatures up to 16C in the sunshine in the southeast, nearer 9C on eastern coasts of Scotland.
